BIO

Bea, professionally known as Bea W. Bliss, was born in the beautiful month of June, and raised in a small town in Alabama near the gulf coast. Down to earth, old fashioned in many ways, loyal and strong-willed. She discovered her passion for the arts at the age of 4 while performing in school and church productions.

Bea is a 4-H Alumni, former track & field high school star athlete, and was a J.V and Varsity basketball player in middle and high school. She was offered a track and field athletic scholarship, but declined. She went on to earn a degree in Business and worked in corporate and the medical field for a few years until she returned to her passion, acting and music.

After the murder of her sister who was killed on September 11th, 2001 in the Pentagon terrorist attack, she set a forward motion to take her passions more seriously. Her very first time as a background actor, on set of a network television series, she was bumped to a featured role, alongside some very notable actors. This was the beginning fuel that has driven her to continue her will and determination to succeed.

Bea moved to Atlanta, GA and was immediately cast in several productions and secured a job as an assistant to a Grammy Award winning music producer. Bea sharpened her skills within the music industry, and began writing and collaborating with several main stream artists and music producers, geared towards working as a soundtrack artist.

Bea has since gone on to role in several independent and theatrical films, TV shows, and stage productions. She also has had the opportunity to co-host a live TV talk show for Comcast Studios for a number of runs, and host different events throughout the city and states. She is an accomplished award winning filmmaker as a writer, director, and producer. Bea directed her first film in 2015, which made history as the first to be produced and  filmed locally in her hometown. It has been nominated numerous times and won several festival awards including "Best Crime Short of the Year" at the 2021 Annual International Independent Shorts Awards (ISA) at Raleigh Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles, CA.

She has produced several projects in Film/TV, Music and is the owner of BWBliss Entertainment, a multimedia collaborative. She continues to hone her skills with consistency in developing her craft and talents as an actor, writer, producer, director, and music artist. Bea enjoys to cook, travel, sports, mentor the youth, art, and she is also a volunteer for several charity organizations. Her charisma, dedicated work ethic, talent, and belief in herself steers her along her journey and hopefully all the while inspiring others.
